Job summary

Amentum is seeking security-minded Security Monitors to support intelligence community customers in Denver, Colorado. You will learn to observe, surveil, and report on activities in sensitive facilities, ensuring safety and integrity of the work environment and handling sensitive documents.

Candidates must meet stringent qualifications including TS/SCI with poly, US citizenship, ability to work on restricted sites, and the stamina to stand/walk long shifts; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• US Citizenship required to obtain/maintain TS/SCI w/Poly clearance.
• Must be able to work on restricted customer site.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for 8-12 hours per day.
• Must be able to work outdoors and indoors; may climb ladders, scaffolding and rooftops as well as work through inclement weather.
• Possess visual acuity to observe activities from a moderate distance.
• DCJS training within 90 days of hire.
• Possess good customer service skills.
• Must demonstrate satisfactory oral and written communication skills, including describing incidents via briefing and written report.
• Must have reliable transportation to sites not accessible by public transportation.
• Must be local to the Denver, CO area.

Job description

Amentum is looking for security-minded and energetic individuals to start or extend their careers in national security. We work with customers in the Intelligence Community (IC) to provide vital mission support.

As a Security Monitor, you will be responsible for the security and integrity of the facilities. Amentum will extensively train you on how to closely observe and surveil your surroundings and the activities of individuals working in and/or visiting sensitive facilities. With this training, you will contribute to the safety and security of your work environment and gain experience securing and surveying classified working areas and any sensitive documents.

Basic Qualifications

• Must possess a current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. US Citizenship required to obtain/maintain TS/SCI w/Poly clearance.
• Must be able to work on restricted customer site.
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to walk and stand for a minimum of 8-12 hours per day
• Must be able to work outdoors and indoors; we may climb ladders, scaffolding and rooftops as well as work through inclimate weather outdoors.
• Possess the visual acuity to observe the activities of other individuals from a moderate distance
• This position requires visual observation of personnel working or visiting customer facilities
• Must successfully complete DCJS training within 90 days of hire
• Possess good customer service skills
• Must demonstrate satisfactory oral and written communication skills, including the ability to describe incidents via verbal briefing and written report
• Must have reliable transportation to sites not accessible via public transportation or pickup/drop-off
• Must be local to the Denver, CO area

Compensation

The starting hourly rate for this position is between $32-40 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Compensation Details
