Next Logical Step Solutions, LLC is seeking a Data Center Project Scheduling Consultant in Austin to lead end-to-end scheduling for data center construction, expansion, and maintenance projects.

The role requires strong analytical skills, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and thorough knowledge of scheduling tools like MS Project or Primavera. A PMP/CAPM is a plus, with a focus on accuracy and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in PM/Engineering/IT or related field.
• Proven experience in project scheduling, preferably within data center environments.
• Proficiency with scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project schedules for data center projects aligned with objectives, timelines, and budgets.
• Gather requirements and milestones from project managers, engineers, and stakeholders for scheduling.
• Create and maintain project timelines, critical paths, and dependencies using scheduling software.
• Monitor progress, identify delays, and propose corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Conduct regular schedule reviews and update plans for changes in scope or resources.
• Provide status reports and schedule updates to teams and senior management.
• Assist in resource allocation and optimization to improve efficiency.
• Ensure scheduling activities comply with industry standards and procedures.
• Identify scheduling risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Maintain organized documentation for scheduling processes and deliverables.
