Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent preferred; related experience acceptable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word; strong admin procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; attention to detail; deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, communicates strategy to meet safety goals for safe practices.
• Plans and coordinates safety training for managers, supervisors, and employees.
• Oversees accident investigations and takes immediate corrective action.
• Reviews incidents and reports to upper management.
• Collaborates with project managers to ensure safe worksites.
• Contributes to safety components of incentive and awards programs.
• Conducts comprehensive on-site safety assessments.
• Monitors safety processes and corrective actions.
• Provides information, signs, posters, etc. for projects.
• Inspects safety equipment periodically.
• Conducts all equipment training.
• Keeps personnel informed of changes in local, state, or federal guidelines.
