Job summary

Apple is seeking a highly analytical Reliability Engineer to develop redundancy and uptime strategies for next-gen data center motherboards. You will connect component-level physics with system-level availability, and drive SoC integration reliability through rigorous stress testing and failure analysis.

Leveraging statistical modeling, you will ensure uptime targets in demanding data center environments while collaborating across hardware teams to sustain continuous improvement in reliability

Qualifications

  • BS in Materials Science, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years experience.
  • Proficiency in statistical life data analysis and knowledge of semiconductor package integration and PCB reliability.
  • Ability to apply FMEA methodologies and explain statistical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Develop reliability strategy for next-gen data center motherboards.
  • Bridge component-level and package-level physics of failures to system availability.
  • Drive SoC and board integration reliability via rigorous stress testing and modeling.
  • Utilize advanced statistical methods to meet uptime targets for high-demand data centers.
