Job summary

FTS, Inc. is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support health and safety operations at an active data center construction site. You will promote a safe work environment, monitor compliance with OSHA regulations, and collaborate with field personnel and contractors to address hazards.

Responsibilities include daily safety inspections, toolbox talks, incident reporting, and maintaining safety records. The role requires OSHA 30 certification, 1+ year of safety experience, and strong communication

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification required.
• 1+ year of safety experience required.
• Experience in construction, industrial, or data center environments preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Spanish-speaking strongly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in an active, fast-paced jobsite environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and site-specific safety requirements.
• Assist with safety orientations, toolbox talks, and employee safety training.
• Support incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Monitor PPE use, fall protection, housekeeping, and safe work practices.
• Communicate safety requirements to employees, subcontractors, and site leadership.
• Maintain safety documentation, inspection records, and reports.
• Assist with implementing and enforcing site safety policies and procedures.
