Job summary

Carter Machinery Co. Inc. is hiring a Data Center Project Manager in the United States to lead technical execution of Power Systems orders and drive profitable project outcomes.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensure safety and compliance, and maintain strong customer relationships across projects. The role requires two years of industrial/electrical power project management experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a preferred related-college degree.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of BAS/BMS, protective relaying, breaker design, Modbus/Ethernet, generator paralleling, diesel engine operation, fuel and cooling systems, emissions regulations and codes.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, EBMS, Salesforce, DBS, Cat PowerNet, SIS-WEB, PSQ, Lotus Notes, EOMP, AutoCAD and Adobe Standard.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter who can work with limited supervision.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with leadership and teamwork.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized with attention to detail.
• Experience resolving conflicts with contractors, engineers, vendors and end-users.
• Eligible to travel; willing to work hours to meet customer demand; clean driving record.
• Commitment to promoting a positive customer experience and upholding core values.

Responsibilities

• Provide the technical knowledge and management to execute Power Systems sales orders per project specs.
• Aim to maximize gross profit while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
