Job summary

Tract is seeking a Project Engineer to support large-scale civil infrastructure projects across the United States. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of post-education experience in managing design, engineering, and construction of commercial/industrial land development projects.

The role involves site layout, grading, road design, stormwater management, and coordination with architects, engineers, and contractors. Competitive compensation plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of relevant construction management experience.
• 3+ years managing large civil infrastructure and site development projects.
• Familiarity with site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and permitting.
• Experience with RFPs, bidding, change orders, QA/QC, RFIs.
• Strong communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of sites including layout, grading, and utilities.
• Manage construction process tasks: safety, submittals, RFIs, changes, permits.
• Coordinate document reviews, cost optimization, and design changes.
• Assist construction manager with invoices and forecasts.
• Coordinate with contractors and authorities to obtain permits.
• Prepare proposals and contract documents.
• Communicate with stakeholders and manage budgets and schedules.
• Ensure quality plans meet local regulations.
