Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for a hyperscale data center project in Port Washington, WI. This role supports the Mission Critical team by managing small projects or assisting larger ones under a Project Manager, including schedule updates and subcontractor/vendor changes.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in construction project management, strong leadership, negotiation skills, and proficiency with Procore or similar tools.

Qualifications

• Industry-related college degree is required.
• 2–5 years of construction project management experience.
• LEAN principles experience is desirable.
• OSHA 10 or 30 preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Data center construction experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Profitably manages a small project individually, or a larger project with a Project Manager's oversight.
• Assists with creating and updating the project schedule.
• Prices and negotiates owner change orders within delegated authority.
• Oversees RFI process and coordinates with project team.
