Job summary

Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud, is a leader in AI cloud infrastructure. This role requires presence in our Salt Lake City Data Center and involves 5-day on-site shifts. You will rack, label, cable and configure infrastructure, diagnose issues, and maintain DCIM documentation.

You will work closely with supply chain, manufacturing, and hardware teams to deploy systems, manage inventory, and resolve tickets promptly. Travel to support new data center turn-ups is expected.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with data center infrastructure systems (power, cooling, monitoring, capacity planning, DCIM, cabling).
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• High attention to detail; ability to follow complex instructions precisely.
• Willingness to travel to support new data center initialization and turn-up.

Responsibilities

• Rack, label, cable and configure new server/storage/network infrastructure per standards.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues across enterprise systems.
• Maintain data center layouts and network topology docs in DCIM.
• Collaborate with supply chain and manufacturing to deploy systems and run project plans for large initiatives.
• Oversee parts depot inventory and track equipment lifecycle within each data center.
• Coordinate with Hardware Support to resolve data center infra tickets promptly.
• Coordinate with RMA to return defective components and order replacements.
• Adhere to installation standards and documentation for placement, labeling and cabling.

What You'll Do

• Ensure all new server, storage, and network infrastructure is properly racked, labeled, cabled, and configured in accordance with organizational standards.

• Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues across advanced enterprise systems.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data center layouts and network topologies within DCIM software.

• Collaborate with supply chain and manufacturing teams to facilitate the timely deployment of systems and execute project plans for large-scale initiatives.

• Oversee parts depot inventory and track equipment across the complete lifecycle—delivery, storage, staging, deployment, and handoff—within each data center facility.

• Partner closely with the Hardware Support team to ensure prompt resolution of data center infrastructure support tickets.

• Coordinate with the RMA team to ensure defective components are returned and replacements are ordered efficiently.

• Adhere to established installation standards and documentation regarding placement, labeling, and cabling to maintain consistency and operational discoverability across all facilities.

You

• Familiarity with critical data center infrastructure systems, including power distribution, airflow management, environmental monitoring, capacity planning, DCIM software, structured cabling, and cable management.

• Professional fluency in both English and Spanish.

• High attention to detail and a proven ability to follow complex technical instructions precisely.

• Proactive work ethic with a strong commitment to continuous professional development.

• Willingness to travel to support the initialization and turn-up of new data center locations.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience troubleshooting enterprise server hardware.

• Demonstrated knowledge of network topology and architecture.

• Familiarity with enterprise ticketing platforms, such as JIRA and Zendesk.

• Hands-on experience with Linux system administration.

• Experience working within large-scale, distributed data center environments.

• Technical experience with Supermicro and Nvidia hardware infrastructure.

Salary Range Information

The annual base salary range for this position has been established using market data and key organizational factors. Final compensation offers may vary above or below this range depending on an individual candidate's unique qualifications, relevant experience, and specialized expertise relative to the requirements outlined in the position description.
