Manage end-to-end Data Center Operations comparable in size, complexity, availability, and scope to the environment supported under this contract. Oversee mainframe and distributed server security, including physical and logical controls, disaster recovery failover, business-continuity execution, and batch scheduling across Windows, UNIX, and mainframe platforms. Direct operations of large-scale server environments exceeding 2,000 physical servers and more than 15,000 physical or virtual server instances. Plan, lead, and execute server consolidation and virtualization initiatives across Windows, Solaris, and Red Head Linux production environments. Manage enterprise-class storage technologies (Windows, Solaris, Red Head, VMware), driving operational best practices, standardizing provisioning, and overseeing storage migrations and performance optimizations. Implement ITIL-aligned standards and operational processes within a high-availability, dynamic data center environment. Lead 24x7x365 data center monitoring functions supporting national-level services, ensuring proactive and reactive management of faults and failures. Oversee IBM Z10 mainframe operations running the z/OS operating system. Translate business requirements into clear technical strategies, solutions, and execution plans. Provide systems engineering leadership across large, complex infrastructure environments.
