Upchurch seeks a Mechanical HVAC Mission Critical Service Technician to maintain and service data center cooling systems, ensuring uptime in high-availability environments. You will perform PM/CM, respond to alarms, and follow strict safety and change-management procedures.

The role offers a progressive technician pathway with training via Upchurch University DC|MC program, opportunities for advancement, and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, PTO, and certification support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA Section 608 Certification required.
• Ability to read P&IDs, mechanical schedules, OEM documentation, MOPs/SOPs.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on data center mechanical systems (CRAH/CRAC, chilled water, pumps, valves, heat exchangers).
• Maintain system redundancy and monitor upstream/downstream impacts.
• Respond to alarms, degraded performance, and urgent service calls per SLA.
• Document readings, inspections, and conditions accurately.
• Follow safety protocols (LOTO, PPE, confined spaces).
• Participate in on-call rotations and maintenance windows.
