Job summary

SNIPEBRIDGE is seeking an MEP Engineer to design and coordinate building systems for high-density data-center environments. You will collaborate with architecture, structural, and energy teams to ensure reliability and safety across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.

Responsibilities include concept development, equipment selection, design reviews, and coordination with utilities and contractors to achieve efficient, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Architectural Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of MEP design experience for complex buildings or industrial facilities.
• EIT required; PE license preferred or ability to obtain.
• Experience with mission-critical, data center, healthcare, laboratory, or advanced manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Revit and applicable analysis or calculation software.

Responsibilities

• Develop MEP system concepts, calculations, equipment selections, layouts, specifications, and construction documents.
• Evaluate capacity, redundancy, maintainability, efficiency, and future expansion requirements.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, fire-protection, and life-safety interfaces.
• Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews, value analysis, and interdisciplinary coordination.
• Review submittals, RFIs, perform site observations, and support testing and commissioning.
• Work with utilities, equipment manufacturers, contractors, and owner teams to resolve technical issues.
• Apply current codes, standards, and project-specific reliability criteria.
• Prepare clear technical reports and communicate design decisions to project stakeholders.
