Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Miami is looking for a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to support the execution of mechanical systems in data center commissioning. Candidates should possess a minimum of two years of relevant experience. This role requires knowledge of OSHA safety requirements, communication skills, and the ability to work under construction site conditions. Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years Data Center Commissioning experience.
• Knowledge of basic thermodynamics, heat transfer and fluid flow.
• Ability to work under construction site conditions.

Responsibilities

• Support commissioning of mechanical infrastructure systems.
• Develop mechanical test procedures and QA/QC of all procedures.
• Provide daily status reports for mechanical commissioning team.

Skills

Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs

Knowledge of mission critical design concepts

Knowledge of Building Automation/Monitoring Systems

Strong experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Extensive travel availability

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
