Job summary

Peter Kazella and Associates, Inc. seeks an experienced Mechanical Commissioning Agent for an Atlanta, GA data center project. The role requires coordinating engineering and construction teams to drive the commissioning process, with focus on reliability and quality across critical electrical and mechanical systems.

The candidate will lead Level 1‑3 commissioning, develop SOPs, document test results, and work with 3rd party CxA firms as needed. Limited travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• 4-10+ years experience with Mechanical / HVAC Systems.
• Bachelor’s / Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience.
• Experience commissioning enterprise data centers, colos, hyperscale sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic site walk‑throughs following Company procedures.
• Manage Level 1‑3 commissioning procedures for the data center project.
• Oversee 3rd Party CxA firms for work above L3; communicate status to senior leadership.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Construction teams to drive the Cx process.
• Develop and maintain commissioning logs, SOPs, MOPs, and test procedures.
• Review design criteria, specs, drawings, equipment submittals, and documentation.
