Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Production Technician Associate to support daily data center logistics operations. You will receive, move, stage, and prepare equipment for shipment while safely operating pallet jacks and forklifts.

You will follow established procedures and record inventory movements, escalating issues as needed. This role emphasizes learning data center logistics processes, tools, and safety standards, with responsibilities that include working within a team, meeting daily

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant experience
• Ability to read, understand and follow job orders and work procedures
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Availability to travel more than 75% of the time
• Good communication skills
• Proven ability to collaborate with and support other team members
• Ability to be engaged and productive while remaining flexible and adaptable to changing conditions and expectations
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Receive, move, stage, and prepare equipment and materials for shipment to support daily data center logistics operations
• Safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts in accordance with training and safety guidelines
• Follow established procedures and work instructions, completing tasks based on priorities set by a lead or supervisor
• Accurately record inventory movements in systems and promptly elevate discrepancies or issues for resolution
• Continuously learn and apply data center logistics processes, tools, and safety expectations in daily tasks
