Job summary

Amazon is seeking an on-site warehouse associate to support shipping and receiving, inventory control, and orderly warehouse operations. The role requires handling shipments, maintaining records, and adhering to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of logistics or warehousing experience and a high school diploma. Proficiency with MS Office and warehouse software is preferred to manage tickets, inventory, and shipping procedures.

• Understand all aspects of production, adhere to strict safety standards, maintain very high quality, and be willing and able to work on powered equipment (i.e. forklift or cherry picker).

Key job responsibilities

• Ensure that all billing associated with the Inventory supply chain is accurate, validated and ready for processing
• Assembling, addressing, stamping and arranging for the shipment of merchandise and materials
• Assist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick‑ups to and from production locations
• Keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company
• Understand all aspects of production, adhere to strict safety standards, maintain very high quality, and be willing and able to work on powered equipment (i.e. forklift or cherry picker).

Physical Requirements:

Requires standing, sitting, and walking for prolonged periods of time.

Typically, work is in a warehouse or data center environment where the noise level is moderate to loud.

Occasionally assist in loading and unloading shipments.

Occasionally exposed to cold or hot weather

Work Environment:

Work with and/or around moving mechanical parts

Noise level varies and can be loud

Temperatures are between 60 and 90 degrees, and will occasionally exceed 90 degrees

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of shipping & receiving, inventory and warehousing practices experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of logistics or other relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of computer hardware components and operating systems
• Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system
• Experience with computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience in Warehouse Management Software / Inventory Management Software proficiency
• Familiar with waybills and shipping procedures with transport companies
