Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Logistics Associate for 1st shift in The Dalles, OR. You will manage inventory, coordinate shipments, and support data center operations while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and 1 year in logistics, with proficiency in Excel and inventory systems. You must be able to lift heavy items and operate material handling equipment, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in logistics, inventory management, or related fields.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and software; proficiency in Excel and basic office tools.
• Ability to lift/move heavy items and operate material handling equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory accurately and maintain records.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers and carriers.
• Maintain organized inventory and reconcile discrepancies through regular stock counts.
• Keep work areas clean and organized, including docks and storage areas.
• Assist in installing server racks and basic cable management under supervision.
• Collaborate with data center operations, procurement, and technical support to fulfill inventory needs.
• Support special projects and perform duties as assigned with focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
