Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking a Logistics Specialist to manage inventory, process inbound/outbound shipments, and maintain chain-of-custody for Data Center Technicians and Engineers.

The role requires driving various vehicles, accurate records, and strict safety standards. Candidates must have a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, a valid driver’s license, and be able to obtain a DOT card.

Qualifications

• Experience as a logistics professional supporting inventory cycle counts, shipments, maintenance, stock control functions and reverse logistics.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above.

Responsibilities

• Receive parts, maintain inventory, and check-out parts as needed to Data Center Technicians and Engineers.
• Load and unload shipments and transport parts, racks, and equipment between different locations, including localized driving of a variety of transportation vehicles.
• Attend forklift operator training.
• Complete company provided training in driving box trucks up to 26’ in length.
• Handle sensitive/classified materials.
• Work with and/or around moving mechanical parts.
• Occasionally work is in an office environment.
• Work overtime as required.
