Job summary

Taleo is seeking a Logistics Specialist 3 to manage material logistics in a data center environment. You will lead shift assignments, supervise a small team, and coordinate receiving, storage, and shipping to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

You will oversee inventory records, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with facilities for planning and orders. A strong background in warehouse operations and MS Excel is required.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years in warehouse, inventory, or related field.
• Minimum 6+ months in a supervisory role.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead or be a point of contact during shift assignments.
• Develop and implement goals, policies, and priorities of the organization.
• Oversee 3-4 hourly logistics personnel for assigned operations.
• Direct and review work plans for staff within the area.
• Review team support of DC operations including receiving, storing, and shipping materials.
• Maintain strict inventory control and ensure accurate shipments and receipts.
• Maintain records and metrics; audit as necessary.
• Assist in inventories and provide inventory reports.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Keep a strong working knowledge of all operating systems in the work area.
• Participate in order planning for the facilities team.
• Manage tasks and vendor inventory orders.
• Participate in inventory audits and receipt processes.
• Coordinate with 3-way match receiving and assist with bulk and asset receiving when necessary.

Job description

A unique position in which Logistics Specialist 3 is responsible for the execution of material logistics in a data center environment. This includes the shipping/receiving, storage, distribution, and cycle counting of data center material.

• Demonstrate leadership or point of contact during shift assignments
• Participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities of the organization
• Oversee and supervise 3-4 hourly logistics personnel for assigned operations
• Direct and review work plan for assigned staff within assigned area
• Conduct a review of team members' Support of DC operations including but not limited to receiving, storing, and shipping materials
• Maintain strict inventory control Ensure accurate and timely shipments and receipts receiving
• Maintain accurate records and metrics, audit as necessary
• Assist in monthly and/or annual physical inventories; provide inventory reports
• Identify, document, and implement opportunities for continuous improvement
• Keep a strong working knowledge of all operating systems in the work area
• Participate in order planning for the facilities team
• Manage tasks and vendor inventory orders
• Participate in inventory audits Receipt
• Management Support OFCI (Construction‚ Bulk Inventory)

Skills

• 3+ years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or related field 6+ months in a supervisory or leadership role
• Proficient in MS Office (specifically Excel)
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and client service management
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Versatile, flexible, and willing to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

Physical Demands
