Job summary

Milestone Logistics Specialists facilitates safe movement of parts into, out of, and around client Data Centers using diverse equipment and technology. You will operate as part of a team, maintaining precise inventory and performing accurate transactions, with focus on timely shipments and receipts.

Team members must be adaptable, customer-focused, and safety-conscious, ready to learn new skills and support service delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1 year of operations or material handling experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution center environment.
• Ability to work with instruction as part of a larger team.

Responsibilities

• Move parts safely into, out of, and around client Data Centers.
• Maintain inventory control and perform system transactions.
• Ensure accurate and timely shipments and receipts.
• Transport inventory using forklift or pallet jack and box truck (no CDL required).
• Follow safety procedures and protocols.
• Complete other duties as assigned with quality, safety, and efficiency in mind.

Job description

Milestone Logistics Specialists are responsible for safely moving all of the parts into, out of, and around the client Data Centers using a variety of technology and equipment.

How You Will Make a Difference:

• Work on a team of logistics specialists who work together and independently as required
• Maintain strict inventory control and conduct accurate system transactions
• Ensure accurate and timely shipments and receipts
• Transport inventory by hand, material handling equipment (i.e. forklifts or pallet jacks), and box truck (No commercial driver's license required) by all safety procedures and protocol
• Complete other duties that may be assigned as required with consideration for quality, safety, and efficiency

What You Will Need to Succeed:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of operations or material handling experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution center environment

Physical Demands:

• May require up to 25% travel
• May require extended periods on your feet
• May require miles of walking per day throughout the Warehouse and/or Data Center
• Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Walk, squat and climb for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in environments that may include areas reaching temperatures of 90+ degrees Fahrenheit at times.
• Ability to work overtime and/or weekends if necessary.
