Job summary

CBRE is seeking a highly energetic Data Center Lead Technician - Travel to join our team. You will install and decommission network and cabling infrastructure in data centers, delivering repeatable solutions and working with minimal supervision.

You will report to Operations Manager and coordinate with technicians at various levels, perform 4-pair testing, handle copper and fiber cabling, rack installations, labeling, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic telecom hand tools.
• Must understand customer service.
• Cleared understanding of job safety requirements.
• Should be familiar with wiring schemes and wiring test.
• Capable of field terminations and labeling.

Responsibilities

• Install/decommission network and cabling infrastructure in a Data Center environment.
• Deliver sustainable, repeatable solutions with focus on improvement.
• Provide feedback on project progress to stakeholders.
• Maintain data center cleanliness and safety standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Read blueprints and TC drawings.
