Job summary

Outsource is seeking Data Center Technicians in Fort Wayne, IN with 6+ months of experience in new construction or operational data center environments. This role is not IT / networking and offers hourly pay with weekly payroll.

Starting pay ranges from $23 to $28 per hour, with potential referrals bonuses and benefits options available. The candidate will pull, route, and terminate low voltage cables, install support structures, and perform rack/ closet work in data center environments.

Qualifications

• Experience installing low voltage cable in data center or new construction.
• Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA, or NEC standards.
• Own basic telecom tools including punch downs, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, PPE.

Responsibilities

• Pulling and routing CAT 5 or CAT 6 or Fiber cable in new construction and existing data center environment
• Dressing, labeling and terminating low voltage wires
• Installing support structures (ladder racks, racks, switches, servers, j-hooks, cable trays, basket trays, etc.)
• Terminating voice and data jacks and dressing and terminating distribution frames (66 or 110 blocks, patch panels)
• Rack and stack work, closet work, putting together server racks, patch panels
