Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking an Internal Infrastructure Projects Intern to participate in end-to-end project life cycles for data center facilities. You will help plan layouts, install and test mechanical and electrical equipment, and support project milestones from on-site investigations to vendor meetings.

The role emphasizes collaboration with project leads, safety evaluations, and budget tracking. A related degree and strong MS Office skills are required; US citizenship is a must.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint for presentations and Excel for data analysis and budgeting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be a US Citizen

Responsibilities

• Create, analyze, and follow up on RFPs.
• Organize and maintain notes on Project Management meetings and updates.
• Track budgets and report findings.
• Assist Project Leads and Managers on site walk investigations and vendor meetings.
• Perform safety evaluations and recommend solutions.
• Report project milestones and meeting minutes.
