Job summary

Align is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead large-scale data center cabling and infrastructure deployments across the U.S. You will plan, coordinate, document, and report on projects, working with clients, field teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver safe, on-time results within budget.

The role requires 5+ years of PM experience in data centers or related IT infrastructure, plus strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience supporting data centers, structured cabling, or large IT infrastructure deployments.
• Experience managing multiple teams, vendors, and concurrent projects.
• Experience planning schedules, budgets, risks, and client expectations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer-facing skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and PM platforms for scheduling or reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage data center cabling and infrastructure projects from planning through closeout.
• Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, milestones, risk logs, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with clients, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Track project progress, identify risks, and resolve schedule or deployment issues.
• Manage RFIs, change orders, submittals, status reports, and closeout documentation.
• Track materials, equipment readiness, labor, project costs, and change orders.
• Lead client and internal project meetings and provide clear status updates.
• Partner with Superintendents and Foremen to ensure field work meets project requirements.
• Support QA/QC, testing, commissioning, turnover, and project closeout.
