Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking Infra Delivery Install Technicians to install and move large enterprise equipment and deploy fiber/copper cabling in AWS data centers around Hamlet, NC. You will ensure safety standards and support 24/7 operations with precise physical installs.

Role requires travel within the regional work area, lifting up to 40 pounds, and working in demanding environments. Relocation stipends may be available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years in computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment or data center operations.
• Preferred: cabling best practices knowledge; network cabling knowledge; test equipment familiarity; industry certifications such as CompTIA, CCENT, Network+.

Responsibilities

• Move and install large enterprise equipment.
• Install fiber and copper cabling and patching between equipment.
• Maintain safety and security standards during cabling and rack work.
• Perform break-fix activities and follow established hardware procedures.
• Travel within and outside the regional work area with own vehicle and valid driver's license.
