Job summary

HTS Engineering Ltd. is seeking a hands-on HVAC technician to inspect, maintain, and repair critical cooling systems in diverse facilities.

The role involves working with CRAC/CRAH units, Airewalls, chillers, condensers, and pumps while following a proactive PM schedule to ensure high reliability for IT environments. The candidate must have EPA 608 certification and 2+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC experience, with the ability to read drawings and operate BMS/BAS systems.

Qualifications

• Must have EPA Section 608 Certification.
• At least 2 years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience.
• Able to read mechanical drawings, piping schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Familiar with BMS/BAS systems for monitoring and control.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and on-call duty.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including CRAC/CRAH units, Airewall’s, chillers, condensers, and pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance per schedule to ensure reliable system performance.
• Replace filters and other mechanical components as needed.
• Respond quickly to mechanical equipment failures or temperature excursions to protect IT assets.
• Escalate critical events to management and assist in root cause analysis after incidents.
