Modine is hiring a commercial/industrial HVAC technician in Abilene, TX with up to 40% travel. You will inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, respond to equipment issues, and support IT asset protection through rapid issue resolution.

The role requires 2+ years of HVAC experience, ability to read drawings and schematics, familiarity with BMS/BAS systems, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and on-call shifts. Modine offers strong benefits and a supportive team.

Position Description

• Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including CRAC/CRAH units, Airewall’s, chillers, condensers, & pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) per schedule to ensure reliable system performance.
• Replace filters, and other mechanical components as needed.
• Respond quickly to mechanical equipment failures or temperature excursions to protect IT assets.
• Escalate critical events to management and assist in root cause analysis after incidents.

Key Responsibilities

Travel:Expected travel locations and percentage of travel to anticipate (0-25%), and can be heavier at times.
