Job summary

EOS IT Solutions is seeking a Data Center Network Operations Technician to join our infrastructure engineering team. The role focuses on the physical repair and maintenance of data center hardware, including servers, switches, routers, and related components, ensuring uptime and performance.

You will perform hands-on repairs, manage hardware lifecycles from installation to decommissioning, and document maintenance logs.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or certification in electronics, computer hardware, or a related field.
• Proven experience repairing and maintaining IT and network hardware in data centers.
• Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, Arista equipment and x86 servers.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on repair and replacement of defective data center hardware components.
• Oversee hardware lifecycles from installation to decommissioning and recycling.
• Document maintenance logs and update system configurations as needed.
• Assist with new hardware installations and setup of network/server infra.
• Coordinate with teams to minimize downtime during failures.
• Maintain repair records and ensure accurate maintenance logs.
• Participate in emergency hardware response when required.
