Job summary

InfraTech Solutions LLC is seeking a Data Center Estimator in Paramus, NJ, on site. The role focuses on building complete project estimates for data center infrastructure, including labor, materials, BOMs, and scopes of work.

Candidates should understand how projects are built and estimate every component necessary for installation. Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, performing site surveys, and collaborating with PMs, sales, and operations to ensure precise pricing.

Qualifications

2+ years’ experience installing or estimating data center infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of structured cabling, fiber optic and copper systems.
Experience with ladder rack, cable tray, wire basket, strut/channel, server cabinets.
Ability to interpret drawings, Visio layouts, and project documentation.
Understanding of labor estimating, takeoffs, and BOMs.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook; familiarity with Bluebeam, SAP, Visio is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate labor and material estimates for data center infrastructure projects.
Develop BOMs, material takeoffs, and detailed scopes of work.
Review drawings and customer requirements to build complete estimates.
Conduct site surveys and gather project information as needed.
Collaborate with project managers, sales, and operations to price projects accurately.
Proofread estimates for accuracy before submission.
Use Excel and internal estimating tools to prepare proposals.
