Job summary

TECEZE in Byhalia, MS is seeking a Data Center Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support servers, networking equipment, and data center infrastructure.

You will work onsite, manage cabling, racks, UPS, PDUs, and cooling, perform preventive maintenance, and help maintain security and safety procedures while coordinating with IT teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in data center, IT infrastructure, server, or hardware support.
• Knowledge of servers, networking, cabling, and data center infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and work with IT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain servers, racks, switches, and other hardware.
• Troubleshoot and replace faulty equipment; perform hardware upgrades.
• Install and manage fiber and copper cabling.
• Support racks, UPS, PDUs, and cooling infrastructure.
• Perform preventive maintenance; respond to alerts/incidents.
• Support Moves, Adds, and Changes (MAC).
• Maintain equipment inventory, tickets, and technical documentation.
• Follow data center security and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with network, systems, and IT teams.
