Job summary

Upchurch is hiring an Electrical - Mission Critical Technician to maintain and troubleshoot data center electrical equipment. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on switchgear, UPS, rectifiers, and distribution systems, while adhering to MOPs and safety standards.

Level I–III progression is offered with a path from foundational tasks to leadership responsibilities. The role requires readiness to work nights, weekends, and on-call rotations in a high-availability setting.

Qualifications

• Read electrical one-line diagrams and panel schedules.
• Work in live critical environments with strict safety.
• Willingness to travel to support service region.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM/CM on data center electrical systems.
• Respond to alarms and service calls per SLA.
• Follow MOPs, SOPs, and change-management processes.
• Document readings, inspections, and conditions.
• Participate in on-call rotations and training.

Skills

Electrical drawings reading

On-site work in critical environments

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
