Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an experienced Electrical & Mechanical Installer to support data center construction and commissioning across the United States. You will be responsible for the safe and precise installation of electrical systems, HVAC, and mechanical components powering mission‑critical facilities, with NEC compliance and a focus on safety.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in electrical and/or mechanical system installation on data center, industrial, or commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of NEC requirements and construction safety standards.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems, CRACs/CRAHs, and chilled water piping.

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate electrical systems including power distribution, switchgear, conduit, and controls per NEC.
• Perform mechanical and HVAC system installations to support cooling and environmental systems in data centers.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, one-lines, and P&IDs; support testing and commissioning.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site leads to ensure installations meet design intent and customer standards.
• Maintain site safety and adhere to company and contractor policies.
• Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth field execution.
