Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • NETA or ASHRAE certification or commissioning education.
  • Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Experience with design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission critical facilities, especially data centers.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, RCA, and document corrective actions for equipment failures.
  • Support operational issues with training and SOP reviews.
  • Own conceptual design for data center upgrades to increase capacity and efficiency.
  • Interface with data center operations, design engineering, hardware, and safety teams.
  • Develop innovative solutions for AWS data centers.
  • Lead audits and on-site assessments with risk reports and mitigations.
  • Support construction, commissioning, and turnover as resident engineer.
