Job summary
Fluor Corporation in Greenville, SC seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to provide technical knowledge and lead on complex projects within Fluor- ATLS. Qualifications
- Accredited four-year degree in engineering and 10 years of work experience.
- Strong communication with diverse audiences including management and vendors.
- Professional registration and membership in a technical society (preferred).
- Advanced knowledge of discipline codes and standards is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Apply cost-competitive execution techniques to develop cost-effective total project solutions.
- Develop and review specifications, including design criteria.
- Participate in activities related to equipment procurement, permitting, and subcontracting.
- Perform and check calculations, specify equipment, and solve moderately complex engineering problems.
- Review vendor equipment documentation for compliance and resolve discrepancies.
- Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems within project objectives.
