Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a Director of Electrical Data Center Construction in Nashville, TN. You will lead data center projects, manage PM teams, and drive on-time, on-budget delivery for mission-critical facilities.

You will coordinate clients, vendors, and subcontractors, uphold design standards, and mentor project teams while ensuring strong financial controls and back-office rigor.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Data Center Construction Projects as a General Contractor or Electrical Contractor.
• Proven ability to lead multi-project programs and diverse teams of PMs and superintendents.
• 10+ years of managerial experience in electrical systems for large construction programs.
• Strong estimating, scheduling, budgeting and change management skills.
• Client-facing with excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Willingness to travel regionally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of data center electrical construction projects from initiation to closeout.
• Lead a team of project managers and field personnel to meet scope, schedule and budget.
• Manage contracts, change orders, and vendor/subcontractor relationships.
• Ensure adherence to company design standards and quality expectations.
• Maintain strong client relations and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
• Drive value-engineering and alignment with projectDelivery standards.
