Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Data Center EHS Lead to design and manage environmental compliance across the Maiden data center and nearby operations. The role partners with site operations, construction, and vendors to ensure safety, regulatory adherence, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in EHS with data centers or critical facilities, expertise in NFPA 70E and LOTO, and experience leading cross-functional compliance programs across regions. On-site role with global impact.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of EHS experience within data centers, critical infrastructure, manufacturing, or industrial facilities, with emphasis on environmental compliance.
• Experience with electrical safety practices, including NFPA 70E or equivalent and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Experience applying international, federal, and local environmental and waste regulations.
• Experience supporting after-hours emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine the global environmental and waste compliance strategy for the data center portfolio with third-party consultants.
• Develop a scalable governance framework and KPIs for consistent compliance across regions.
• Own the environmental permitting strategy in partnership with data center operations and construction teams.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis for injuries, near misses, and high-potential events.
• Collaborate with site teams to ensure EHS training is developed and deployed per regulations and project needs.
• Conduct job hazard analyses, risk assessments, audits, and industrial hygiene assessments to identify controls and best practices.
