Leidos is seeking an intern to support the Data Center Design (DCD) team under the SMIT contract. You will help design, document, and implement infrastructure for naval operations, gaining hands-on MBSE experience with Cameo Systems Modeler.
You’ll work with engineers, operations, and QA to ensure data center projects meet standards and are documented thoroughly. A technical degree pursuit and security clearance eligibility are required.
The Data Center Design (DCD) Team at Leidos currently has an opening for an intern to assist us in transforming Data Center Design. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience supporting the Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) contract, the largest IT services program for the Navy. Under SMIT, the Leidos team delivers the core backbone of the Navy‑Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), including data center infrastructure design, network architecture, configuration management, and digital engineering services. The successful candidate will support the DCD team in designing, documenting, and implementing critical infrastructure solutions that enable naval operations worldwide while gaining exposure to cutting‑edge digital engineering methodologies including Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).

Pay Range $48,100.00 - $86,950.00
