• Perform QC/QA checks to confirm: Labels are correct, legible, and properly placed; Cables show no visible damage, breaks, kinks, or compromised jackets during labeling.
• Identify and report labeling discrepancies or visible cable damage to project leadership.
• Assist with updating labeling documentation, checklists, and redlines as required.
• Follow all site safety requirements and wear required PPE.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support project timelines and client standards.

Position Overview

The Data Center Deployment Technician I is an entry-level role ideal for candidates with 0-1 year of experience looking to start a career in data centers. This position is primarily responsible for labeling fiber optic and copper cables and performing basic Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks limited to labeling accuracy and cable condition. Technicians in this role work under direct supervision and follow established client and TDS standards.

Qualifications
