Job summary

Salute, a leading provider of Data Center Infrastructure Services, is seeking a Data Center Porter in Meridian, MS to maintain a clean facility and support operations for hyperscale clients.

The role requires physical fitness, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, use ladders, and maintain safety standards. Prior cleaning or customer service experience is a plus; background checks will be performed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must pass appropriate background checks.

Responsibilities

• Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Sometimes using ladders, dust and washes furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas.
• May remove stains from surfaces using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
• Sets up, arranges, and removes decorations for events.
• Monitors building security and safety by locking doors after hours and checking hazards.
• Gathers and empties trash.
• Services, cleans, and supplies restrooms.
• Cleans interior glass, windows, and mirrors.
