Job summary

Salute is seeking a Critical Facility Engineer II to join our team in Forest Grove, OR. You will manage and monitor data center systems, including electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment, to maintain 99.999% uptime.

Your responsibilities include preventative maintenance, incident response, and coordinating with vendors. Requires a minimum of five years’ experience and a focus on reliability and safety in a data center environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating and maintaining data center critical equipment.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and controls.
• Experience with incident response and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and respond to abnormal conditions in facilities systems.
• Perform planned and ad-hoc preventive maintenance.
• Inspect building systems (HVAC, electrical) for safety and cleanliness.
• Respond rapidly to indoor air quality issues and emergencies.
• Manage work requests and coordinate with vendors and contractors.
• Support data center services including colocation and connectivity.
