Job summary

Aligned Data Centers, LLC is seeking a Critical Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the operation and upkeep of our data center infrastructure in Conesville, OH. The role involves hands-on maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, generators, and life-safety systems, along with digital controls and CCTV, within a fast-paced data center campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2–5 years of working experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical critical facilities systems a plus.
• Computer skills required: MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance of HVAC, plumbing installation/maintenance, generator operations, fire detection and suppression, life safety, temperature control systems, building management systems, and digital systems (e.g., fire alarm, duress, card access, CCTV).
• Maintain and monitor electronic work-order ticketing system to track preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
• Inspect buildings, lighting systems, grounds, and equipment for safe, well-maintained conditions and identify hazards and repair needs.
• Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs; replace light bulbs, ballasts and fuses (as experience allows).
• Identify and repair plumbing fixtures; open clogged lines and drains.
• Operate machinery and tools (saws, router, drills, sanders, planers, drill presses) safely.
• Monitor building conditions during shifts; adjust as needed; move and store supplies and equipment.
• Occasionally require overtime or weekend work and may adjust hours.
