Job summary

Oracle is seeking a senior cost-control professional for its Abilene, TX-based data center projects. The role focuses on developing and maintaining budgets, overseeing cost estimation, and implementing strict cost-control and reporting processes.

Responsibilities include collaboration with cross-functional teams, monitoring expenditures, and managing contracts and changes to keep projects on time and within budget. Relocation support is available; travel may be required for non-relocation hires.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in construction project management with data center/critical infra focus.
• Proven ability to deliver large-scale data center projects, independently or as lead.

Responsibilities

• Review and maintain project budgets and cost forecasts.
• Monitor expenditures, cash flow, and financial performance vs budgets.
• Lead contract administration including procurement, change orders, and claims management.
• Identify and mitigate risks to avoid overruns and delays.
• Collaborate with project teams to align financial objectives with delivery goals.
• Implement cost management and reporting best practices.
• Present cost reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Support value engineering to optimize costs while preserving quality.
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulations.
