Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician in Pennsylvania. You will maintain and troubleshoot mission-critical data center facilities, including liquid cooling systems and three‑phase electrical systems, to ensure near 100% uptime.

This role requires familiarity with cooling towers, CRAC units, water chemistry, and pump networks. It involves 12-hour shifts, travel between sites as needed, and collaboration with contractors to uphold safety and efficiency standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in data center engineering.
• Willingness to travel between data center locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety, and cooling equipment.
• Monitor and operate liquid cooling infrastructure.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of liquid cooling systems.
• Technical writing to support change management programs.
• On-site support of contractors and vendors.
