Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking a seasoned controls engineer to design and implement BMS/EPMS architectures for data center facilities. You will develop PLC/SCADA/HMI logic, and integrate with HVAC, power, and monitoring systems to ensure robust performance.

Attendance at client sites for commissioning and ongoing projects is required; travel can be up to 50%. A Bachelor’s in Electrical/Mechanical/Control Systems and 5+ years of controls experience are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in controls engineering or automation.
• Experience with BMS/EPMS for data centers preferred.
• Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, Ethernet/IP or similar.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and visit project sites.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement control system architectures for BMS/EPMS across data centers.
• Develop control logic and graphics for PLCs, SCADA, and HMI systems.
• Integrate control systems with HVAC, power, and monitoring platforms.
• Lead or support commissioning to verify data points and signals.
• Diagnose control and communication issues and improve system performance.
• Prepare system documentation, I/O lists, and control drawings per standards.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project teams to define scope and schedules.
