Job summary

Clear. is seeking a hands-on Superintendent to own daily field operations on a large-scale data center project in Indiana, coordinating trades and sequencing construction activities to meet an accelerated schedule.

You will enforce safety, manage look-ahead plans, resolve field-level blockers, and coordinate with commissioning teams for turnover and startup. Willingness to travel and reside near active project sites required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Superintendent on large-scale data center, mission-critical or heavy industrial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of field execution, sequencing and trade coordination.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications and project schedules.
• History of delivering projects against demanding milestones.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily field operations across a large-scale data center construction project.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trade partners, vendors and site personnel.
• Develop and manage short-term look-ahead plans and daily production targets.
• Sequence trades to prevent clashes, delays and rework.
• Identify and resolve blockers involving RFIs, materials, site access and inspections.
• Monitor subcontractor manpower and performance against the construction schedule.
• Enforce site safety requirements and maintain a strong safety culture.
• Conduct regular field walks and quality inspections.
• Ensure installations comply with drawings, specifications and approved standards.
• Manage punch-list completion and verify that corrective work remains closed.
• Coordinate construction activities with commissioning and startup teams.
• Support system turnover, testing and final project handover.
• Communicate progress, risks and recovery plans to project leadership.
