Job summary

Suffolk is seeking a General Superintendent for data center projects in Lima, OH. You will lead field operations, manage schedules, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate with clients, architects, and internal teams to deliver critical facilities on time and on budget.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or Construction Management and at least 15 years of general contracting with mission-critical experience, plus strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of general contracting experience, with data center focus.
• Applicable area licenses.

Responsibilities

• Monitor projects for conformance with the schedule, quality levels, and SOPs.
• Develop client satisfaction through relationships with clients and architects.
• Recruit and mentor field staff to match project scope.
• Provide leadership on materials, sequencing, scheduling, personnel and methods.
• Advocate for Field Operations and support business development.
• Participate in pre-construction activities: sales, constructability reviews, schedule baselines.
