Job summary

Salute in Abilene, TX is seeking a Data Center Construction Security Officer to patrol, control access, monitor CCTV and alarms, and report incidents. You will work on-site across shifts, support hyperscale client relationships, and help maintain physical security and safety at the facility.

The role requires a High School Diploma, Texas DPS Guard Card, ability to pass a background check and drug screen, and willingness to work overtime. Competitive benefits and a 401(k) plan are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Able to pass a background check and 10-panel drug screen.
• Texas DPS Guard Card is required.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol exterior grounds of the facility.
• Provide access control for gates and ensure only authorized personnel are admitted.
• Monitor cameras after normal working hours and maintain logs.
• Notify Shift Lead or Supervisor of issues and suspicious activity.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings to promote security and safety.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Enforce security policies and warn violators of infractions.
• Permit authorized entry and manage traffic at entrances/exits.
