MGAC, a global boutique consultancy, is seeking a Data Center Construction - Mid to Senior Project Manager (Low Voltage) in Lima, OH. The role focuses on owners representation for critical environments, requiring 3+ years in construction PM and 2+ years in data centers or labs.

You will lead design and construction activities across MEP, telecom, and low-voltage scopes. As a Project Manager, you will manage scope, budget, and risks while mentoring teams and coordinating with A&E, GC and vendors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction project management and building design knowledge.
• 2+ years managing critical environment projects (data centers, labs, hospitals).
• 4+ years focused on project management in telecom, low-voltage and fiber optics.
• MEP experience in ground-up construction mandatory.

This is an Owners Representative, full-time position that will require local support in Lima, OH with 4-5days onsite or as client needs change.

• 3+ years of experience in construction project management with a thorough understanding of the building design and construction process.
• Bachelors, Associates, or equivalent experience in a construction-related discipline.

What Youll Be Doing

MGACs Critical Environments team manages the construction of data centers and hospitals with deep industry expertise. We act as owners representatives resolving issues, managing conflicts, and guiding informed decisions to keep projects on track. As a Project Manager at MGAC, you will lead incredible, resume-building, high-visibility projects.

Project Leadership

• Independently manage the full scope of projects while simultaneously managing components of others.
• Mentor and lead teams while managing schedule, scope, and budget.
• Lead project risk management, contingency planning, and schedule and budget recovery planning.
• Achieve and maintain the clients vision as a trusted partner.

Design Management

• Manage all design platforms and documentation (Autodesk/Procore), including file structure, compliance, schedules, design packages, and QA/QC of issued drawings.
• Lead design coordination across partners driving clarity, cross-EOR alignment, VE discussions, lessons learned, and consistent information sharing between buildings.
• Oversee design-related construction administration, including A&E meetings, submittals/RFIs, site walks, mock-ups, and coordination with EORs, subs, and the GC.
• Support change management, cost impact reviews, and tenant/customer design integration while serving as the primary liaison between PM/CM teams and A&E partners.

Financial and Contract Management

• Ensure timely invoicing and collection.
• Identify and secure add-services opportunities.

Collaboration and Communication

• Maintain collaborative relationships with clients, A&E professionals, contractors/GCs, vendors, and other teams.
• Anticipate project and team risks; solve complex challenges and conflicts.
• Conduct requirements gathering and needs assessments.

Salary Range

$110,000 - $150,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
