Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Construction Manager to operate on-site in Killeen, TX, interfacing across divisional teams, senior leadership, and key stakeholders. You will lead end-to-end workplace construction projects, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and safety compliance are met from concept to occupancy.

The role requires extensive experience in construction management, including hyperscale/data center projects, with PMP or OSHA-30 credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent with eight years of relevant experience.
• Experience with hyperscale mission-critical/data center construction preferred.
• PMP or similar certifications preferred.
• Minimum about 20 years of related construction experience and a strong safety/regulatory compliance background.

• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and resource planning.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders across project lifecycles.
• Oversee tenant improvements, office renovations, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, environmental requirements, and corporate standards.
• Strategic planning of office and lab spaces; contractor selection and contract negotiations.
• Monitor progress, conduct site inspections, and resolve issues; manage change orders and reporting.

Job Description

AECOM is seeking aConstruction Manager. This role will operate at cross section between multiple divisional personnel, senior leadership, program management, and key stakeholders. This position will be on site in Killeen, TX.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end management of workplace construction and renovation projects from
• concept through occupancy.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and resource planning.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholdersthroughout project lifecycles.
• Oversee tenant improvements (TI), office renovations, workplace modernization initiatives,
• and infrastructure upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, safety regulations, environmental
• requirements, and corporate standards.
• Strategic planning of office and labs.
• Manage contractor selection, bid evaluations, contract negotiations, and project execution.
• Monitor construction progress, conduct site inspections, and resolve project issues
• proactively.
• Track project budgets, approve invoices, manage change orders, and provide financial
• reporting.
• Partner with Facilities, IT, Security, EHS, HR, and business leaders to ensure successful project deliver.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• BA/BS plus eight years of relevant experienceor demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with hyperscale mission critical/data center construction projects.
• PMP or similar certifications preferred.
• 20years of related experience.
• Strong understanding ofquality andsafety culture, regulatory compliance, assurance, and governance expectations.
• OSHA 30 certification with experience creating a strong safety culture.
