Job summary

MGAC seeks a Project Manager for data center construction in New Albany, OH. You will independently manage full project scope, mentor teams, and drive schedule and budget while maintaining client vision.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in construction PM, experience with data centers, and MEP in ground-up builds. This role is primarily onsite with travel between New Albany and Trenton, OH.

Position Title: Data Center Construction- Junior to Mid Project Manager

This position will require 4-5 days per week onsite split between New Albany, OH and Trenton, OH, based on client need.

  • 3+ years of experience in construction project management with a thorough understanding of the building design and construction process.

  • Bachelors, Associates, or equivalent experience in a construction-related discipline.

  • 2+ years of experience managing critical environment construction projects (e.g., data centers, labs, hospitals).

  • MEP experience in ground-up construction.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

What Youll Be Doing

MGACs Critical Environments team manages the construction of data centers and hospitals with deep industry expertise. We act as owners representatives resolving issues, managing conflicts, and guiding informed decisions to keep projects on track. As a Project Manager at MGAC, you will lead incredible, resume-building, high-visibility projects.

Project Leadership
  • Independently manage the full scope of projects while simultaneously managing components of others.

  • Mentor and lead teams while managing schedule, scope, and budget.

  • Lead project risk management, contingency planning, and schedule and budget recovery planning.

  • Achieve and maintain the clients vision as a trusted partner.

Financial and Contract Management
  • Ensure timely invoicing and collection.

  • Identify and secure add-services opportunities.

Collaboration and Communication
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with clients, A&E professionals, contractors/GCs, vendors, and other teams.

  • Anticipate project and team risks; solve complex challenges and conflicts.

  • Conduct requirements gathering and needs assessments.

Salary Range

$110,000 - $140,000 per year (commensurate with experience)

The advertised salary range is intended as a general guideline and may vary based on factors such as experience, expertise, and location. This base salary does not reflect the full compensation package, which may include bonuses, a 401(k) match, and other benefits.
